Privacy

This site is designed not to collect personal data. Ley 25.326 de Protección de los Datos Personales (Personal Data Protection Law) considers health-related information to be "sensitive data", and that is why the site avoids asking for it or storing it.

What is stored

  • Ratings and suggestions: they are stored anonymously (the answer, the topic and the date). No name, email or IP address is stored. We ask that you do not write personal or health information in the text fields.
  • Access codes: the system stores only the code, the topic it gives access to and its expiration date. It does not store which patient it was given to: that link stays in the office's medical record, under professional confidentiality.
  • UV index: the town you type, or your approximate location if you choose to use it (rounded to about 1 km), is used only to look up the index on the Open-Meteo weather service and is not stored.
  • El dispositivo de tu código: la primera vez que abrís un código de consulta, el navegador guarda una cookie técnica con otro identificador al azar, para que ese código solo pueda abrirse en ese mismo dispositivo. No contiene datos personales ni identifica el aparato.
  • Avisos de temas en construcción: si pedís que te avisemos cuando un tema esté publicado, el pedido (solo el nombre del tema) queda guardado en tu navegador, en este aparato. No se envía al servidor y podés borrarlo desde el aviso o limpiando los datos del navegador.
  • Your code on your phone: if you choose to, your access code is stored only in your own phone's browser, so you do not have to type it every time. It is not sent anywhere else, and you can delete it whenever you want with the "Forget this code on this phone" button. Every time you visit, the system checks again that the code is still valid.
  • Tu acceso a la página: al ingresar con una invitación o con el código de una consulta, el navegador guarda una cookie técnica con un identificador al azar, que no contiene tu nombre ni ningún dato personal. Sirve solo para recordar que tenés acceso (6 meses, renovables con cada visita) y para contar tus invitaciones. El sistema guarda quién invitó a quién solo mediante esos identificadores al azar, para que la página se comparta de persona a persona.
  • Comentarios: se guardan sin nombre y solo se publican si el médico los aprueba. No escribas nombres, datos personales ni detalles de tu salud.
  • Visit statistics: Cloudflare statistics are used, which do not use cookies or track individual visitors; they report the number of visits per page and the country of origin.

Medical consultations

This educational site does not receive health data. Consultations are handled outside of it: first by email and, if appropriate, on the doctor's appointments page, where the information needed for care is entered. That space is independent of this site and has its own privacy terms.

Email replies are prepared with a semi-automated assistance system, and the doctor personally reviews them before they are sent: no reply is sent without his review. Data are handled confidentially and under professional secrecy.

What we do not do

  • No se usan cookies de seguimiento ni publicidad: la única cookie es la técnica de acceso.
  • No data are shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
  • Fonts are served from the site itself, without connections to external services.
